A grand Victorian-Style Seaside Inn, one block from the Ocean. Built with lumber that came from the Philadelhia Centennial Exhibit of 1876. The lumber was shipped by barge down the DelawareRiver and up the Atlantic Coast where it was unloaded on the beach and brought by horse to the present site. The 2 buildings were constructed as private homes on what had been potato fields. In the late 1920’s, the Westphal family converted the homes into an Inn, open only during the summer season. Both house (10 rooms and 8 rooms) surround a crystal blue pool...white & green awnings everywhere. The wraparound porches won’t let you go to bed early and breakfast in prepared by Candy herself. The bedrooms have all amenities, Jacuzzi tubs in some, porches, etc.
