Tini Martini Bar

Tini Martini Bar is the ‘Toast’ of St. Augustine’s Bayfront Scene
First Inn Bar Opens at the Casablanca

St. Augustine, Fl (August 2007) The Casablanca Inn (circa 1914) has been well-known and awarded hospitality recognitions for decades. Owners Michael Miles and Nancy Cloud are taking the historic inn into another realm of innkeeping by bringing their vision to life and officially opening the Tini Martini Bar to the public on October 25 . This is the first time that the Casablanca will be sharing its historical presence with patrons that are not staying overnight in one of their suites or rooms.

With inside seating for 16 and 36 more on the outdoor verandah, the Tini Martini Bar has the ambience of a fine wine and cocktail bar anywhere in the world. The dark wood floor and cool marble bar surrounded by oak and fine glassware, set the scene for the Bar “We have an extensive wine list of wines by the glass, 30+ vodkas and fine liquor for discerning clients. And if someone can dream up an exotic martini, we’ll try to make it appear within minutes” according to Miles.

Miles and Cloud are professional hoteliers with an avant-garde style that pairs their historic inn with tastefully exciting décor, luxurious amenities and distinctive art. The bar’s walls are adorned with Colombian artist Fernando Botero’s instantly recognizable colorful paintings, his exaggerated size human figures celebrating the life within them. He captures intimate moments in life – a woman bathing, a men’s card game or a family posing for a photograph, depicting plump nonchalant people in everyday scenes. They pair perfectly with the universal appeal of St.Augustine, a figurative painting style that blends Renaissance and Baroque techniques with the colonial customs of Latin America – akin to America’s oldest city in history and tradition.

The Tini Martini Bar is open for guests and friends daily from midday to late night.
