Spring Lake, New Jersey (October, 2008) The Historic Inns of Spring Lake embody the romance and history of America, offering the best in character, tradition and hospitality. In May, 2009, they will be hosting the 3rd annual AUTHORS & INNS TOUR weekend, featuring cookbooks authored by chefs, restaurateurs and bona fide ‘foodies’. Publicist Leigh Cort is coordinating the coming event that will highlight the best of new cookbooks from around the US; she is inviting all authors who have an interest in participating in the Tour to contact her.
During the past two years, the AUTHORS & INNS TOUR featured many celebrity authors meeting fans, from Mary Higgins Clark introducing her new release “Ghost Ship” to award-winning romance authors throughout the metropolitan NJ, NY, PA and CT region. The inaugural event won New Jersey Governor’s Award for Tourism in Spring, 2008.
Nationally recognized for more than a decade for their open house Holiday Tour each December, the Historic Inns of Spring Lake are a stunning collection of 19th Century homes, dating from 1870-1888.
