St. Augustine, FL (February 2009) On behalf of Florida’s Superior Small Lodging Association (SSL), four Inns of Elegance in St. Augustine have individually received the 2008 White Glove Award. A prestigious honor that is awarded to only a few dozen Florida accommodations each year, the inns are nominated and selected through a detailed annual inspection. The Inns (listed below) received top honors for cleanliness, service, quality of bath and bed linens and overall excellence, based on strict industry criteria.
The 2008 White Glove Awards were officially announced at the December 1st 2008 SSL conference in Clearwater, Florida. The Inns of Elegance recipients include:
• Bayfront Marin
• Casablanca Inn
• Inn on Charlotte
• St. Francis Inn
