St. Augustine (November 2007) Now that Kingfish Grill has celebrated its 2nd Anniversary at Camachee Cove Marina in St. Augustine, the big broadcast is its long-awaited expansion one story UP. Announcing its spacious new private banquet space ‘The Harbor View’, this 2nd floor used to be the home of the St. Augustine Yacht Club. With a view of the vast panorama of the Intracoastal Waterway, white caps of the Atlantic Ocean and luxury yachts nestled into the marina, it is now hosting luncheons, dinners and receptions for 30-100 guests that are ‘far above the rest’.
Just in time for the holiday season of socials, weddings, business meetings and private dinners, General Manager/partner Beth Mincher knows how to create memorable events with the entire Kingfish Grill ‘family’. (Executive Chef Shawn Stalcup, a Johnson and Wales graduate who was catering parties for the Buffalo Bills football team and 5,000 guests when hardly out of high school – and Assistant Manager Phoebe Stroker’s 12 years of restaurant/bar responsibilities overseeing ala carte dining throughout the East Coast.)
