Rib-Eating Contest Celebrates 30th Anniversary
at Woody’s Bar-B-Q®

Jacksonville, Florida (July 20, 2010) Lifting a perfectly smoked spare rib to the lips and beating out other zealous rib-eating contestants is what Bar-B-Q heaven must be like! During the official 30th Anniversary year, Woody’s Bar-B-Q® will honor fans and friends with their 2nd Annual Spare Rib Eating Contest.

The contest, held in four states at participating Woody’s, takes place on Saturday July 24th at Noon. Percy the Pig will be cheering on contestants who will have ten minutes of spare rib eating to win the Grand Prize. The Grand Prize winners determined at all of the participating restaurants, will be awarded a $130 ‘Q’ Card.

GO TO YOUR **NEAREST WOODY’S LOCATION, ARRIVE AT 11:30AM TO SIGN CONTEST RELEASE AND READ THE RULES. Then get ready for some good rib eatin’.

Founders Woody Mills and Yolanda Mills-Mawman & Jaxson deVille will personally greet guests at their original flagship location (1638 University Boulevard). Contestants are coming from towns throughout Florida and Georgia and the public is invited to cheer on the winners! At this location, the party continues with turkey legs on the outside grill and Budweiser beer tasting.
