PALM BEACH POST - the SeaClusion

Not able to spend summer abroad? How about summer aboard, as in aboard a yacht docked near historic St. Augustine?

A good choice for boaters and wanna-be boaters, a Welcome Aboard Summer Break promotion is being offered from May through September. Participants stay aboard the SeaClusion "bed-and-boat" for two nights, midweek, and get 50 percent off the second night and dinner for two at Columbia Restaurant. The first night's stay costs $259, Sunday-Thursday.
This one-of-a-kind vacation is aboard the SeaClusion, a 38-foot Chien Hwa Flybridge trawler motoryacht. The yacht overlooks the Bridge of Lions and Old City to the starboard and is permanently moored at the St. Augustine Marina in the scenic Matanzas Bay that leads to the Atlantic Ocean.

Docked in the center of all of St. Augustine's treasures, the SeaClusion can accommodate 1-5 guests with two full bathrooms.

While staying on SeaClusion, guests are also considered a guest of Casa de Solana Bed & Breakfast (circa 1803), a historic inn just two blocks from the marina. The B&B amenities offered by the Inn — Southern breakfast buffet, evening socials, bicycles, tickets to the lighthouse, late-night desserts and coffee and parking — are complimentary.

SeaClusion is a home away from home. Below deck, teak paneling and built-ins dominate the marine decor. The main cabin galley has sink, refrigerator, ice maker, microwave, and coffee maker. The adjacent lounge area has upholstered seating, dining area, cable TV and portable stereo CD player.
