“Mayberry
Momma’sTM Food for the Soul & Body” cookbook is a heart-warming combination of the
Mayberry Momma's memories of growing up in Mount
Airy, N.C., the small town that she and Andy
Griffith shared, along with the results from her
nationwide contest, which brought in a "passel of
good recipes for great food." The book’s emphasis on
"home cooking" takes the reader back to an era in
the South and a generation that loved to cook! Add
in a generous helping of Carolina mountain wisdom,
Mayberry Momma style, and you've got a tasty
offering. This new book is a natural follow-up to
her first book, Memories of Mayberry, which explored
the influence of their hometown on the fictional TV
town. |
